Bidvest Wits have targeted Black Leopards midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase as their replacement for the Mamelodi Sundowns-bound Sibusiso Vilakazi.

The Clever Boys have confirmed the sale of Vilakazi to Mamelodi Sundowns in a deal which saw Curthbert Malajila and Mogakolodi Ngele moving in the opposite direction.

The South African U23 international has now become the Students number one target to fill the void left by ‘Vila’, according to a source.

‘His name has been discussed,’ a source told KickOff.com.

‘The club has identified Ntshangase as capable replacement for Vilakazi.

‘There has been some informal discussions with his representatives,’ the source added.

Meanwhile, Wits midfielder Jabulani Shongwe set to depart from the club and edging closer to a move to Orlando Pirates.
