Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Sibusiso Vilakazi believes his side has what it take to clinch the MTN8 trophy on Saturday.

The Brazilian will now take on Bidvest Wits in the finals when the two side’s meet at the Mbombela Stadium.

The 26-year-old was full of praise for his former side but he says that Sundowns are thriving on the pressure that comes with playing in a cup final.

‘I think Wits are not too far from attaining what they are out to achieve in terms of trophies and they certainly have the players to do it,’ Vilakazi told the PSL website.

‘Wits are a quality side, but at the same time, we also like to play under pressure. If there was no pressure, there would be no meaning to the game. That’s when your best comes out and we thrive on it.’

The match at Mbombela Stadium kicks off at 17:00.
