Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting line-up to take on Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Champion Cup on Saturday.

The fans have spoken, Amakosi’s starting line-up was announced tonight and once again goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has emerged as a popular player among the voting fans, reports the Kaizer Chiefs website.

Strikers Bernard Parker and William Twala made a good showing in the vote ranking and were selected for the Cup tie.

In midfield, fan favourite Hendrick Ekstein earns his place among the likes of George Lebese, George Maluleka, and Willard Katsande.

Tsepo Masilela completes the back four alongside Rio 2016-bound Eric Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho and Kgotso Moleko, all of whom featured regularly last season.

Each club is entitled to make a total of seven substitutions, six outfield and one goalkeeper.

The Soweto derby in the annual Carling Black Label Champion Cup will take place on Saturday at FNB Stadium.

The match kicks off at 15:00.
