The draw for the Telkom Knockout Cup semi-finals has been confirmed following Free State Stars victory Kaizer Chiefs in the quarter-finals on Sunday.

SuperSport United will meet Orlando Pirates in one semi-final while Cape Town City will take on Free State Stars in the other.

Matsatsantsa booked their place in the semi-finals after they beat Mamelodi Sundowns 3-1 on penalties in a Tshwane derby, while the Buccaneers edged Highlands Park 2-1 in a tightly contested match in Soweto.

Eric Tinkler’s side reached the last four by winning a seven-goal thriller 3-2 against Baroka in Polokwane on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Ea Lla Koto booked their place in the next round after they claimed a stunning 6-5 penalty shootout win over Kaizer Chiefs in Durban.

The Cape side and Matsatsantsa will both have the home advantage in the next round, with dates and venues yet to be confirmed.
