Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler believes striker Lehlohonolo Majoro will rediscover the form he has shown over the years in the Absa Premiership.

Since his arrival at the club, the 30-year-old has already made nine appearances in all competitions but is yet to score a goal this season.

The 46-year-old coach says he is hopeful that the former Orlando Pirates striker will find his confidence in front of goal again.

‘The press and everybody is going to be on his case because he is a goal-scorer and that’s why we brought him here. I still firmly believe he will score goals,’ Tinkler said.

‘He needs to rebuild his confidence. The only way that is going to happen is when we as a team and club support him. I still do, I still support him. I still believe he can do the job.’
