SuperSport United have announced they will travel to Spain as part of their preparations for the 2016-17 Premiership season.

The side returned to pre-season training last week in the hopes of building on their eighth-placed finish in the league last term, having also secured the Nedbank Cup.

The Tshwane outfit got off to a poor start to the 2015-16 season before the arrival of Stuart Baxter in January helped stabilise the side.

Now, the club has announced they will depart for Spain between July 31 and August 8 to take part in a training camp, reports Goal.

SuperSport are also set to unveil a host of new signings before the side departs for Europe, with the club having already secured the services of Reyaad Pieterse, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Keegan Ritchie for next season.
