Mamelodi Sundowns has secured the services of midfielder Lucky Mohomi from Free State Stars.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Sundowns, according to an official at Chloorkop.

The Garankuwa United midfielder will become a replacement for the Portugal bound midfielder Bongani Zungu, who is set to join Primeira Liga side, Vitoria Guimaraes.

An official at Sundowns confirmed that the midfielder has joined the Brazilians on a permanent basis.

‘It’s a done deal. Mohomi is a Sundowns player. There was no agent involved but the boy’s parents were present during negotiations,’ the official told KickOff.com.

During his one year stint at Ea Lla Koto, Mohomi has managed to score four goals, created one assist from 30 appearances in all competitions.

Mohomi has helped Stars secure their Absa Premiership status for the upcoming season after finishing the 2015-16 season in 12th on the PSL table.
