Mamelodi Sundowns will now compete in the Fifa Club World Cup in Japan after being crowned winners of the CAF Champions League.

The Brazilians’ competition will start against the winners of the match between Antlers and Auckland City on 11 December in Osaka.

The winners of this clash will then take on Columbian side Atletico Nacional, winners of Copa Libertadores, in Osaka, and the winners of this match on 14 December goes through to the final on 18 December.

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Real Madrid will start their campaign against the winners of the clash between Hyundai and Club America on 15 December in Yokohama.

Sundowns have registered a strong 23-man squad for the tournament, the biggest tournament in the club’s history for the African champions.
