Bloemfontein Celtic interim coach Lehlohonolo Seema has urged his side not to concede any goals against Baroka at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Wednesday.

Phunya Sele Sele and Bakgaga will lock horns for the first time in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.

Seema hopes his side can avoid conceding any goals as they look to turn their season around.

‘We are facing a team with a similar style of play and ours is just to avoid conceding goals whilst using our strength to attack,’ he told the Bloemfontein Celtic website.

‘I must concede, it is going to be an incredibly tough encounter knowing the type of players they have like Geofrey Massa who can be lethal if left unchecked, but we also have a team that has the zeal to fight collectively like it was evident on Sunday [against Polokwane City].’

The 36-year-old confirmed that they will be without suspended defender Alfred Ndengane.

‘Our supporters deserve to celebrate and this is one game we have to win to reward them for their gallant way of motivating players to fight even when the chips are down. Unfortunately, Alfred Ndengane will miss this one after getting his fourth yellow card on Sunday, but we are fully ready as a team.’

Bloemfontein Celtic will welcome Baroka to the Dr Molemela Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
