Nale has a vast of experience and had previously played for the likes of Golden Arrows, Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United.

Meanwhile, Malawian midfielder Phiri played his football at Bidvest Wits while Namibian defender Mwedihanga has played for AmaZulu and AmakTuks.

The club’s general manager Senzo Mazingiza confirmed that Dikwena has strengthened their squad after signing Nale, Phiri and Mwedihanga.

‘There have been talks between us and the coach in terms of players we want to bring on board. I can confirm that we have signed Nale, who has wealth of experience. He will add value to our attack,’ Mazingiza told the Platinum Stars website.

‘Phiri is also an exciting number 10, who can also make meaningful contribution. We are hopeful that Mwedihanga will add the required experience at the back. We won’t leak goals anymore.

‘These are the additions that our coach Cavin Johnson will be proud of. He has been part of the plans and discussions in terms of who we should have in terms of beefing up our team.’

When the Premier League resumes, Platinum Stars will welcome Orlando Pirates to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on February 8.
