Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper Brandon Pietersen has urged his side to stay focused ahead of their Absa Premiership clash with Highlands Park on Wednesday.

The Urban Warriors are getting ready to take on the Lions of the North in the Absa Premiership, in the hopes of extending their winning streak to four consecutive matches.

The 22-year-old believes his side should remain focused on their next match and keep showing the hunger to continue their winning ways.

‘I think the focus is primarily on our next game for now and we will do everything to get the points,’ Pietersen told the Ajax Cape Town website.

‘They are struggling at the bottom, we have to respect that, but we must be disciplined and remain hungry for more wins.

Pietersen says he will be hoping his side can walk away with all three points against the Lions of the North in the hopes of climbing up the Absa Premiership table.

‘We have our own mission, to keep going up on the log table, so we have to show no mercy. We have to collect as many points just before the break,’ He added.

‘That will make it will be easy for us to plan when we regroup for the second half of the season you know.

‘So far so good, confidence is up and we are working hard to go to Tembisa and have something in the bag.’

The match at Makhulong Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
