Orlando Pirates first team players have reported back to training ahead of their next Absa Premiership encounter against Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on February 8.

With the break coming to an end after the African Cup of Nations, the Buccaneers head into the business end of the season as they begin training ahead of their next Absa Premiership encounter.

Pirates head coach Augusto Palacios knows that his side will face tough battles ahead as they look to turn their form around after their poor end to 2016, having suffered two consecutive defeats against Maritzburg United and Bloemfontein Celtic.

The Soweto giants are currently placed tenth on the Absa Premiership table with 18 points, seven points behind leaders SuperSport United.

The match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
