Maritzburg United striker Luyanda Ntshangase has received a South African U20 call-up ahead of their international friendly against Zambia on 8 February.

The South African U20 side take on Zambia in a friendly match as preparation for the African Youth Championships to be played in Zambia between 26 February 26 and 12 March.

The Team of Choice communications manager Brian Zuma says he is confident the 19-year-old strike will make the final cut for the squad, as he is already with his teammates preparing for the match.

‘This is good for the boy, gaining national team experience at this age. We are confident that he will make to the final squad to play in the Youth Championships,’ Zuma told the Maritzburg United website.
