Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada says the team is starting to bond, taking positive feedback from every match.

Eric Tinkler’s side is set to welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the Cape Town Stadium in the Telkom Knockout Cup Last 16 take on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old says he is delighted to be back in the squad after spending time on the sideline through injury.

‘It feels good to be back (from injury), to be able to bring my style of play to the team. Just great to be around the ball again. As early as it is, the team has come a long way already,’ Nodada said.

Nodada says he is looking forward to the season ahead after being promoted to the Cape Town City senior team.

‘We are starting to bond very well, starting to understand each other on the field. Some games we should have won and some we made silly mistakes, but looking forward, there have been positives from every game and we are just trying to polish up on the negatives.’

The match at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
