James Nguluve’s agent Shane Costa has confirmed that Maritzburg United are assessing Zimbabwean winger in the hopes of bolstering their attack.

Costa has confirmed that the winger is currently on trial at the Team of Choice in the hopes of impressing interim coach Fadlu Davids, to earn a professional contract with the club.

His agent has also revealed that the 20-year-old has interest coming from both South African clubs and a Danish club.

‘James Nguluve is on trials at Maritzburg United. He previously played for Ngezi Platinum,’ Costa told KickOff.com.

‘Three other clubs are also interested in him in South Africa and there’s also a Danish team.’

Maritzburg United will be hoping to continue their good run of form when they play Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.

The match at Royal Bafokeng Stadium kicks off at 15:30.
