Golden Arrows are in talks with Mpumalanga Black Aces over the prospect of singing Malawian defender Limbikani Mzava.

According to new Black Aces owner John Comitis, the 22-year-old was reportedly on his way to Orlando Pirates

The Malawi international is now rumoured to be talking to Abafana Bes’thende with the intention to relocate to Durban next season instead of Cape Town with Aces, reports KickOff.

An official at Abafana Bes’thende has confirmed that the club are in talks with Mzava and intend on capturing the defender before the start of the new season.

‘Yes, it’s true. We are interested in Mzava. We are talking to him,’ confirms the official.

‘But the chairlady [Mato Madlala] is the right person to speak to,’ he added.

During his first season with Aces, the Malawian defender has netted one goal and created one assist from 25 appearances in all competitions, since his move from Bloemfontein Celtic in July 2015.
