Former Orlando Pirates forward Jerry Skhosana is excited by the arrival of Limbikani Mzava at the club, believing the player to be of great quality.

Pirates have reportedly reached an agreement to sign the defender from Mpumalanga Black Aces ahead of next term, where he will he rejoin new Bucs coach Muhsin Ertugral, who as the man in charge at Aces this past season.

‘I spoke about Mzava as one of my buys for Pirates and I’m happy now that he was mentioned by the club as the first player that Muhsin wants to bring at Pirates,’ Skhosana told KickOff.

‘It makes me very excited because this is the position Pirates are struggling in central defence and Mzava is young and a quality player.

‘Rooi [Mahamutsa] has lost some yards and he’s no longer the same player as he was in some competitive games. So I’m very excited about his addition although it has not been a done deal.’

Mzava made 25 appearances for Aces across all competitions this term, netting once.
