Three clubs are chasing the signature of former Bafana Bafana star and out of favour Orlando Pirates man Sifiso Myeni, according to reports.

The winger has fallen out of favour at Bucs following the arrival of new boss Muhsin Ertugral. The 28-year-old has subsequently been transfer-listed by the club, with the like of Ajax Cape, Bidvest Wits and newly formed Cape Town City all keen on his signature.

The 28-year-old has subsequently been transfer-listed by the club, with the like of Ajax Cape, Bidvest Wits and newly formed Cape Town City all keen on his signature, reports Goal.

City, meanwhile, are being led by former Pirates coach Eric Tinkler, who is allegedly keen on reuniting with the wing at the club.

‘Several clubs have expressed interest in Myeni and Pirates are assessing offers for the player. Ajax, City and Wits are all in the race at the moment, but only the best offer will see him leave Pirates as planned,’ the source said.

The wing is a product of the Ajax academy, while the Cape side’s coach Roger De Sa having managed the player at Wits.

Wits, meanwhile, are eyeing Myeni as a possible replacement for the departed Sibusiso Vilakazi, who left for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Myeni made 29 appearances for the Buccaneers last term.
