Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Knowledge Musona has signed a contract extension at Belgium side KV Oostende that will keep him contracted to the club until 2020.

The 26-year-old joined the Belgium side at the beginning of the 2015-16 season following his departure from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.

Musona has been in impressive form for the Belgium side and he managed to net 13 league goals in his first full season with the De Kustboys and has already netted six goals from 13 appearances during the current season.

The Zimbabwe international says he pleased to have signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with the club and is grateful for the confidence the club has shown in him.

‘I am very pleased with the confidence that I get here,’ Musona told the KV Oostende website.

‘KVO gave me the chance to prove myself really in Europe when it was not really succeeded at Hoffenheim. I feel good here and I am pleased that I can stay here longer.’
