Platinum Stars captain Vuyo Mere says his side are expected to collect all three points when they take on Bloemfontein Celtic at home on Saturday.

The 32-year-old will captain his side when they take on Phunya Sele Sele at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in an Absa Premiership.

Mere insisted that Dikwena will go all out expecting walk away with all three points against the visiting side.

‘We want to collect as many points as we can at home,’ Mere told the Platinum Stars website.

‘Celtic is always a tricky team. They have got a good coach with a quality side. I have that thing that when I play Celtic I always want to do well against them,’ he added.

‘It’s my home team. They are coming to our home. We expect nothing but three points. We want to collect maximum points when they play at home.’

The versatile player says he is hoping that Siwelele exploits in the Macufe Cup has taken a toll on them ahead of their upcoming clash.

‘We have to bring our A game on the day. We have to be professional. They played in Macufe Cup. We hope it has taken as much energy out of them so that when we play them they are not as fresh as we are,’ he added.

Kick-off has been scheduled for 15:30.
