Chippa United midfielder Xolani Mdaki says that he and his teammates are looking to keep the momentum when they take on Golden Arrows at the Prince Magogo Stadium on Saturday.

Dan Malesela’s side ran out 4-1 winners in their previous Absa Premiership match against Baroka before the international break.

The 24-year-old says it’s important for his side to do well in their next match and continue the form they showed against Bakgaga.

‘It is important for us to keep the momentum going when we visit Golden Arrows this coming weekend,’ Mdaki told the Chippa United website.

Mdaki says he know all about the threat Arrows possess but he believes the Chilli Boys have prepared well and are ready to take on Abafana Bes’thende.

‘We played them during pre-season, and they can be dangerous. One has to look at how well they have done thus far, we cannot afford to take them lightly,’ he added.

‘The preparations for the game have been going well. We got to play a competitive friendly against Cape Town All Stars this past weekend and should be ready come Saturday.’

Chippa United against Golden Arrows kicks off at 15:30.
