Ajax Cape Town midfielder Ndiviwe Mdabuka says that his side will be working hard to keep the clubs supports happy heading into the new year.

The Urban Warriors now prepare for the Absa Premiership clash against Chippa United at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old has urged the fans to be safe during the festive season and enjoy a safe and happy holidays with their families.

‘Firstly, I must thank the supporters, they have been there for us throughout these years and we are grateful,’ Mzwakali told the Ajax Cape Town website.

‘I’d like to urge them to remain safe on the roads so that they can have a wonderful festive and holidays with heir families.’

Mdabuka will be hoping the club’s fans will come out to support the team as they look to repay the faithful fans after securing four consecutive victories.

‘My wish is to see them back on the stands next year when we resume our campaign, they must come back to sing for us,’ He added.

‘For me, I will be home with family enjoy the break, but we must now come back and do the job on the field – we will work hard make the fans happy.’

The match at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
