Orlando Pirates have confirmed the arrivals and exits of a number of players ahead of the new season with Menzi Masuku the most high-profile exit.

The Soweto giants have already confirmed the arrivals of Ajax Cape Town duo Riyaad Norodien and Abbubaker Mobara while the club also confirmed that Nkosinathi Mthiyane has joined from Chippa United. Donald Mokondelela and Thabiso Khutumela, two of Baroka’s stars from last season, have also made the switch to the Buccaneers ahead of the new season.

The club were cryptic in listing the players that have departed the club, making no comment on whether the following players have left on loan or have been sold, these players include quartet Thembinkosi Lorch, Mpho Mvelase, Maselaelo Seanego and Menzi Masuku who will all join the Chilli Boys ahead of the new season.

Another surprising move was that of Marshall Munetsi who has been sent out on loan to Baroka. The 19-year-old Zimbabwean joined Pirates in May but will now cut his teeth in the PSL at the NFD winners.

Also making a Mayfair exit are is Jackie Motshegwa who will join Munetsi at Baroka. Mbongesi Gumede will join AmaZulu.
