Maritzburg United have reportedly rejected two offers for in-demand striker Evans Rusike.

The 26-year-old striker is in high demand after scoring nine goals and four assist from 27 Absa Premiership appearances, helping his side secure their PSL status for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

According to KickOff.com, Maritzburg are desperate to avoid a repeat of the relegation struggles and have decided to keep hold of their star players.

Kaizer Chiefs are one of the clubs interested in the striker, but any bids for the Zimbabwe international will be rejected.

Adding to Maritzburg’s woes is the speculation that Mamelodi Sundowns have shown interest in winger Deolin Mekoa.

The U23 star netted twice and created four assists in 25 appearances for the Team of Choice during the 2015-16 season.
