Kaizer Chiefs spokesperson Vina Maphosa says ‘sparks are expected to fly’ when they welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

The Glamour Boys will be hoping to return to winning ways after they were beaten 3-1 at the hands of Chippa United last week.

The Amakhosi spokesperson says his side are relishing the chance to take on Phunya Sele Sele in their next Absa Premiership encounter on December 14.

‘We are looking forward to host the Free State-based Bloemfontein Celtic for our next Absa Premiership match at home, at the FNB Stadium,’ Maphosa told the Kaizer Chiefs website.

‘The Kaizer Chiefs against Bloemfontein Celtic fixture will be played on Wednesday evening, 14 December, and this clash is always a fan favourite – sparks are expected to fly on and off the field when the two teams meet.

‘The tussle on the field is forever fierce and Siwelele Sa Masele with their legion of singing fan base will be met by the Gold and Black Amakhosi, known for glamour and style.’

Kaizer Chiefs will now welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the FNB Stadium when the two side’s meet in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
