Mamelodi Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor has praised Egyptian side Zamalek for their welcoming during the Caf Champions League clash last week.

The Brazilians recently defeated the Egyptian giants 2-1 in their crucial Caf Champions League group B encounter.

The 31-year-old says that he has been to many Arab countries over the years travelling with the Liberian national team and he insists that Egypt is the best one to go too.

‘You know I’ve been traveling to Arab countries for so many years because of the national team and I think Egypt is the best. They welcome us very well and after the game everything was okay,’ Laffor told KickOff.com.

‘Even when we were leaving everything was okay, there was no commotion or anything. I think with football being played in Africa especially now they’re doing it on TV so every team gets chances to win anywhere.’

Sundowns will top their group if they avoid defeat against Zamalek at home on Wednesday.
