South African goalkeeper Darren Keet, who is currently on the books of Belgian side KV Kortrijk, has been linked with a move to fellow Belgian club Mechelen.

Keet made 30 appearances in the Belgian league this season, keeping 10 clean-sheets in the process but the former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper has made it clear he is set to cut ties with Kortrijk.

Belgian media believe Keet could be the man to step into the position at Mechelen.

The 26-year-old has also reportedly attracted interest from Major League Soccer in the USA, reports KickOff.

The South African international goalkeeper made the move to the Belgium from Wits in the 2011.
