18-year-old South African U20 international Liam Jordan has agreed a move to Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

The Bidvest Wits teenager will join on an initial loan deal with his new club having the option to make his deal permanent if he impresses in Europe.

‘Congratulations to TPC client Liam Jordan on signing for Sporting Lisbon,’ tweeted his agent Glyn Binkin.

Jordan is expected to link up with Sporting’s reserve side as he looks to impress his new team.

Last season, Jordan scored four goals for Wits’ MultiChoice Diski Challenge team.
