Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson says his side will have their work cut out for them when they take on Golden Arrows at the Prince Magogo Stadium on Wednesday.

Dikwena recently played out to a 1-1 draw with Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Absa Premiership, with a goal by Thembinkosi Lorch in the 27th minute before Robert Ng’ambi equalised the match in the 60th minute.

The 57-year-old Johnson will be hoping his men get better when they face Golden Arrows away. He knows it won’t be easy for his men against Arrows, who have been doing well this season.

‘Arrows are doing very well. They are top of the log. Clinton Larsen has put together a good team. We are going to go out there. We are going to have our work cut out for us,’ Johnson told the Platinum Stars website.

The coach has called on his side to ‘raise their game’ as he believes they are in for a tough battle on Wednesday.

‘We have always, in the last few years, had good games against Arrows. This time is going to be a little bit difficult. They are not on top of the log for nothing,’ he added.

‘They have worked for the points and we need to go there and do the work. It calls for us to raise our game.’

The match at Prince Magogo Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
