Ajax Cape Town captain Travis Graham says his side want to win all their remaining fixtures this year heading into the new year.

The Urban Warriors recently recorded their first win in a friendly match against Stellenbosch, but remain winless in the Absa Premiership this season.

The 23-year-old believes the international break came at the right time for the side to adjust to coach Stanley Menzo’s tactics and style of play.

‘We have been very productive during the international break, it has been very good for us. Yes, we have struggled this season, but the break came at a good time, gave us time to work with coach Stanley Menzo, getting to know him better and at the moment things are running smoothly,’ Graham told the Ajax Cape Town website.

Graham added that Ajax’s objective is to walk away with maximum points in their remaining matches this year, but stressed that the Team of Choice won’t be easy to beat.

‘Obviously, we want to win all our remaining games this year, starting with the clash against Maritzburg United at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

‘Maritzburg are a very difficult team to play against and obviously, they have caused quite a few upsets against us over the years.’

The match at Cape Town Stadium kicks off at 20:15.
