Kaizer Chiefs failed to convert a single penalty as they lost they FAME Charity Cup to newly-promoted Baroka on Saturday.

None of the Amakhosi players managed to score from the penalty spot as they lost 3-0 on penalties following a goalless draw.

Amakhosi started the final with more or less the same players that went to do battle with Orlando Pirates in the Carling Black Label Champion Cup last week. There were, however, three changes as Brilliant Khuzwayo and Ramahlwe Mphahlele came on for Itumeleng Khune and Erick Mathoho, who are on national team duty, while Zambian striker Lewis Macha started ahead of Hendrick Ekstein.

Both sides had a number of chances to settle the game in regulation time but failed to find the net at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Brilliant Khuzwayo saved his side’s first penalty before misses from Willard Katsande, William Twala and George Maluleka handed Baroka the win.
