Carnell impressed by 'talented squad'

Orlando Pirates assistant coach Bradley Carnell has been impressed by the seamless transition of Bucs’ new players at the club.

Carnell, a former Kaizer Chiefs defender, was recently appointed to his role following the arrival of Mushin Ertugral at the club.

‘We have a lot to look forward to at the club. They have a fantastic coach, who already has mistakes fully buried. He has opened my eyes a lot and has given me hunger for a lot more,’ Carnell told Goal.

The Buccaneers have welcomed numerous signings to the club thus far this transfer window, including the likes of Ayanda Nkosi, Justice Chabalala, Thabiso Kutumela and Donald Mokondolela among others.

‘We hope to get out of the starting blocks as quick as possible. It’s a very talented squad, a very gifted squad and we are looking forward to getting the most out of each player, Carnell said of the signings. ter.

”The new players have taken like a duck to water. They have really enjoyed seeing quality players and I can see that they have already lifted their levels to adjust to make sure that they don’t get left out in the cold.’

Carnell is confident he can help unlock the full potential of the Bucs squad.
