Orlando Pirates have issued a statement expressing their condolences to the family of the late Thabo Michael Tseka.

The statement on the official Pirates website read:

‘It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Mr. Thabo Michael Tseka popularly known as Bra Mike or Mike Tseka.’

‘All of us at Orlando Pirates Football Club throughout sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere beyond our borders are imbued with sorrow after learning of the death of Mr Tseka who served the club for many years as an administrator in the 50’s and later becoming the Chairman of Orlando Pirates Football Club.

‘We convey our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the Tseka Family and pledge our profound moral support.

‘We supplicate that God gives the family fortitude at this moment of extreme grief and pain.

‘Details of the funeral will be announced at a later date.’
