SuperSport United centre forward Jeremy Brockie has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The New Zealand international has revitalised his career since arriving at the club, having scored 18 goals in all competitions for the side last season.

Matsatsantsa have now tied the 28-year-old down to a further three years at the club, extending his total contract with the side to a length of four years.

‘Yes, Jeremy has signed an extended contract to 2020,’ SuperSport’s chief executive officer Stanley Matthews told Goal.

The player’s abilities particularly caught the limelight during Matsatsantsa’s successful Nedbank Cup campaign, in which he netted four times.

The forward and his goals will likely prove key for SuperSport in the coming seasons.

Matsatsantsa face Platinum Stars in their opening game of the new Premiership season when they travel to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on August 24.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
