Mamelodi Sundowns star Khama Billiat has hailed compatriot forward Mitchell Katsvairo’s performance since joining Kaizer Chiefs during the summer transfer window.

Katsvairo has already shown glimpses of what he can do, by scoring his first goal for Amakhosi against Free State Stars and providing an assist in the previous match against Maritzburg United.

Billiat says he is with Katsvairo and believes he has all the attributes to become a success in the Absa Premiership.

‘He is strong on the ball and he fights for everything,’ Billiat said of his compatriot.

‘He is a guy who likes to score goals and works for the full 90 minutes. He is a good striker.’

Kaizer Chiefs will now take on Maritzburg United in the Telkom Knockout at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off has been set for 20:15.
