Baroka coach Kgoloko Thobejane reveals that his side are ready to win every trophy on offer during the 2016-17 PSL season.

Bakgaga sent out a message to every Absa Premiership team after defeated Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 on penalties to win the FAME Charity Cup on Saturday.

The Baroka mentor revealed that his side are planning on winning every trophy on offer during their debut season in the Absa Premiership.

‘We more than ready [to play in the PSL]. We don’t want only to win one cup but all the trophies in the PSL,’ Thobejane tells KickOff.com.

‘The team is fit, everything is perfect. We are raring to go.’

Thobejane believes Ugandan striker Geofrey Massa will play a major role in helping Baroka get goals during the 2016-17 season.

‘He [Massa] has been training with us for only one week,’ he added, ‘We wanted to give him only 45 minutes and to keep working on his fitness.

‘He is a great finisher and he is going to help us lot in the PSL next season.’

During the 2015-16 season, Bakgaga went on to clinch the National First Division title and made club history by gaining promotion to the Absa Premiership for the very first time.

Bakgaga will take on Ajax Cape Town in their maiden Absa Premiership match at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on August 23.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
