Kaizer Chiefs MDC coach Arthur Zwane has expressed his delight at seeing his players secure a regular place in the South African U20 starting line-up.

Three of Amakhosi’s development players, including Wiseman Meyiwa, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, and Itumeleng Shopane have featured for Amajita during the Cosafa U20 Challenge Cup.

The 43-year-old coach has expressed his delight at seeing his players included regularly in the Amajita squad during the Cosafa Cup.

‘The boys are doing well. We are monitoring their progress and we are glad that they show signs of growth in their game,’ Zwane told the Kaizer Chiefs website.

The Amakhosi trio have played in all three of Amajita’s group stages matches with the South African U20 side qualifying to the next round with maximum points (nine).

The South Africa U20s side will now take on Angola in the semi-final of the Cosafa Cup at the Moruleng Stadium on Wednesday.
