Al Ahly star Percy Tau has been named in the Egyptian Premier League Team of the Month for November after a scintillating start in North Africa.

The Bafana Bafana star hit the ground running in Egypt under Pitso Mosimane as his five goals this season, including three in four league appearances during November, have him topping the goalscoring charts.

That tally, which included a brace in last month’s 4-1 win over Smouha, led to the Bafana Bafana star being named in the division’s Team of the Month, where he stars alongside teammates Ali Maaloul and Aliou Dieng.

Tau’s inclusion in the monthly team comes after he was twice selected for Player of the Week award during the month after his fine goalscoring performances.

Tau and Ahly will next be in action when they face Future FC on 21 December, before going head to head with Pyramids in a highly anticipated clash on Christmas Day.
