Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says his side will fight till the end when they take on Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday.

It is set to be a memorable occasion for the Foxes as they contest their first-ever home fixture in the Champions League, reports the Leicester City website.

The 64-year-old manager says he is well aware of Porto’s strengths but he insists that his side will fight till the end.

‘We know last season was amazing but now we must forget what happened last season. Now there is a new season and everybody is waiting for us,’ Ranieri said.

‘For us to play in the Champions League is something special. We’d like for our fans all around the world to enjoy – we want to fight for them to the end.’

Ranieri wants his side to secure a victory over Porto for the fans and he will be hoping to reproduce the form they showed last season.

‘I think it will be fantastic tomorrow (Tuesday) and for our fans. A lot of them came to Bruges and listened to music – tomorrow a lot more can hear it,’ he added.

‘It will be fantastic to continue the fairytale for them and we want to show them good football and a victory of course.’

The match at King Power Stadium kicks off at 20:40.
