Chelsea has been given an injury scare after playmaker Eden Hazard was forced off the field during Belgium’s 8-1 thrashing of Estonia in the World Cup qualifiers.

The 25-year-old was on target for The Red Devils but was unfortunately replaced in the 73rd minute after picking up a knock and was forced off the field.

While the extent of his injury still remains unclear, Antonio Conte received a further blow with in-form striker Diego Costa also struggling to be match fit.

The 28-year-old striker will now be sidelined for Spains upcoming international friendly match against England after aggravating a groin problem.

The pair has been in fine form for the Blues this season with the Blues currently sitting in second place in the Premier League table, just a point behind leaders Liverpool.

Costa already scored nine goals and is the Premier League’s top scorer, while Hazard has netted seven this season.

Chelsea will next travel to Riverside Stadium when they take on Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Sunday.

Kick-off has bee set for 18:00.
