Mamelodi Sundowns wing Keagan Dolly believes his side hold a psychological advantage over Caf Champions League final rivals Zamalek.

Sundowns beat Zamalek home and away in the group stage of the competition this term and as they now prepare to face the same opposition in the final, the side know what it takes to overcome their Egyptian opponents.

Dolly recognised the prior victories will give his side confidence but also insisted the circumstances of a high-pressure final were completely different.

‘It’s not going to be easy, it’s going to be difficult. I think we have a slight advantage over them after beating them twice, but we shouldn’t be going to the game thinking is going to be easy and we will win,’ Dolly told KickOff.

‘We will have to work hard for it. But I think we are fully prepared and ready to fight. This will be good for us as a team and a country as a whole. It will be good to be part of making history.’

Dolly was adamant that his side should avoid the mistakes they committed in their heavy 3-0 defeat to Wits in the MTN8 final last week.

‘We need to start off well, I mean from the word go, Wits showed that they wanted it more. I think we need to start concentrating from the first whistle and until the end of the game,’ Dolly explained.

The first leg of the clash between the pair will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

The action gets underway at 15:00.
