The Premier League continues to thrill fans around the world and week 22 is unlikely to be any different, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:

1. Liverpool to batter the Swans:

The Reds take on Swansea at Anfield this weekend. Liverpool will be looking to keep the pressure on table-toppers Chelsea, while Swansea are still searching for their first win under new manager, Paul Clement. With Philippe Coutinho back from injury expect the Reds to continue their impressive home form with a comfortable victory while condemning the Swans to a 7th straight defeat

2. Blockbuster at the Etihad:

Manchester City takes on the high-flying Tottenham Hotspurs this weekend at the Etihad Stadium. Spurs are the leagues form side and are on a six-game winning run while Guardiola’s side are coming off a 4-0 thrashing from Everton. Both teams will be looking for the three points in order to not lose anymore ground on the other teams towards the top of the table. In a game of such magnitude predictions are near on impossible, but if there is one thing that is certain, we are in for a thriller at the Etihad this weekend.

3. Bournemouth to pile more misery on Watford:

Bournemouth host a struggling Watford side at Dean Court. The Cherries will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Hull City last week while Watford are without a win in six games. Walter Mazzarri is under pressure and is desperate for a win. Bournemouth, however, have been in impressive form this year at home, expect Eddie Howe’s men to pick up the three points and put more pressure on Mazzarri and his team.

4. Big Sam to continue to search for 1st win:

Crystal Palace host Everton at Selhurst Park this weekend hoping to claim their first victory under new boss Sam Allardyce. The Toffees are coming off a confidence-boosting victory over Manchester City and are in sublime form. Whereas Palace are without a win in seven matches. Expect Big Sam’s search for a win to continue as Everton are the likely winners in this match up.

5. Zlatan to continue scoring form:

Stoke City will welcome Manchester United to the Bet365 Stadium this weekend. Manchester United’s main man Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the all-important equalizer against Liverpool last weekend, extending his Premier League tally to 14 for the season. The Swede remains a constant threat when he plays and expect him to do the same this weekend and hit the back of the net yet again.

6. Costa to make scoring return:

Diego Costa sat out his team’s victory over Leicester City last weekend due to a back injury and an alleged bust-up with manager Antonio Conte. Diego Costa is expected to return team this weekend as his team Chelsea take on Hull City at Stamford Bridge. Expect a fired up and determined Costa to make a scoring return.

7. Tight contest between West Brom and Sunderland:

With both teams coming off the back of poor results last time out, West Brom host Sunderland at the Hawthorns this weekend. West Brom were hammered 4-0 by Spurs while Sunderland lost 3-1 at home to Stoke City. Sunderland are in desperate need for any type of result while Tony Pulis will demand a reaction from his team. Expect a tightly fought contest, where a draw is the most likely result.
