The Proteas claimed a convincing ten-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the second Test at the Wanderers, wrapping up the series with a 2-0 triumph.

Requiring only 67 runs for victory after Sri Lanka was dismissed for 211 on Tuesday morning, openers Dean Elgar and Aiden Markram comfortably saw the hosts over the line.

Lutho Sipamla, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje and Wiaan Mulder all picked up wickets in the morning session with Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne battling bravely for his 103.

In what was his tenth Test century, Karunaratne took the attack to the Proteas bowlers. He was eventually undone by Nortje, top edging one straight Mulder.
