The Proteas have announced their 17-man squad ahead of the second Test against Australia at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Sunday.

South Africa made a number of changes after their 214-run defeat to Australia at Kingsmead Stadium in Durban to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Verreynne will remain part of the squad for the second test, while Tony de Zorzi will not form part of the squad as he continues to mend his hamstring injury.
