Quinton de Kock received one demerit point and was fined 25% of his match fee for breaching level one of the ICC code of conduct for Sunday’s row with David Warner.

The hearing took place at the Sun Boardwalk hotel on Wednesday evening and the ICC came to the ruling that the Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman was guilty of bringing the game into disrepute, breaching level one of the ICC code of conduct.

CSA accepted the charge but were unsuccessful with contesting their sanction.

The incident between De Kock and Warner took place in the players’ tunnel during the tea break on day four of the first Test at Kingsmead, and was caught on CCTV camera.
