Proteas fast bowler Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against the Netherlands.

Ngidi tested positive for Covid-19 and was immediately placed in isolation. According to Cricket South Africa, he is “well and in good spirits”. His place in the squad has been taken by Junior Dala.

Seam bowler Lizaad Williams will also miss the series due to an intercostal muscle strain. No replacement has been named for him.

1st ODI – Friday, 26 November (10am), Centurion
2nd ODI – Sunday, 28 November (10am), Centurion
3rd ODI – Wednesday, 1 December (10am), Wanderers
