A 16-man Proteas squad has been named for the ODI series against Bangladesh from 18 to 23 March.

Sisanda Magala was not available for selection due to a failed fitness test, while Anrich Nortje was also not considered as he continues rehabilitation from a hip injury.

The first and third ODIs will be played in Centurion and the second at the Wanderers.

The series will form part of the World Cup Super League.

Proteas ODI squad: Temba Bavuma (c, Lions), Keshav Maharaj (v-c, Dolphins), Quinton de Kock (wk, Titans), Zubayr Hamza (WP), Marco Jansen (Warriors), Janneman Malan (Rocks), Aiden Markram, (Titans), David Miller (Dolphins), Lungi Ngidi (Titans), Wayne Parnell (WP), Andile Phehlukwayo (Dolphins), Dwaine Pretorius (Dragons), Kagiso Rabada (Lions), Tabraiz Shamsi (Titans), Rassie van der Dussen (Lions), Kyle Verreynne (WP).

1st ODI: Friday, 18 March, SuperSport Park, Centurion (1pm)
2nd ODI: Sunday, 20 March, Wanderers, Johannesburg (10am)
3rd ODI: Wednesday, 23 March, SuperSport Park, Centurion (1pm)
