The Sunrisers Hyderabad took a five-wicket win off the Rajasthan Royals after being set a solid 199 runs for victory.

Batting first, Royals skipper Ajinkya Rahane scored a blistering 70 off 49 balls (4×4, 3×6, S/R 142.85) while Sanju Samson was equally impressive scoring an undefeated 102 off just 55 balls, with 10 fours and four sixes (S/R 185.45).

The rampant Royals ended on 192-8 off their 20 overs and would have been hoping to register their first win on the campaign.

David Warner had other ideas, however, racing to 69 runs off 37 balls with nine fours and two sixes while Jonny Bairstow racked up 45 off 28 balls (6×4, 1×6) in an opening  stand of 110 in under 10 overs that setup the five-wicket win with an over to spare.

Shreyas Gopal did his best with the ball for the Royals, picking up 3-27, but it was not enough to deny Sunrisers their victory.
