Themba Zwaneโs agent has revealed that his playerโs future remains with Mamelodi Sundowns, despite media reporters linking the Bafana Bafana winger with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
The wingerโs representative, Jazzman Mahlakgane, has cleared the air regarding the playerโs future after media reports suggested that the former Mpumalanga Black Aces player is set for a move to the Naturena-based outfit.
Zwaneโs current contract is set to terminate at the end of the season; however, Mahlakgane has dismissed the notion that the man known as Mshishi to his fans could be in negotiations with Chiefs.
โThereโs nothing like that [discussions with Chiefs]. The real story is that we are talking to Sundowns only, full stop,โ he told Kickoff.
โThe people who are spreading those rumours must not try to make us busy with something that is not there.
โWe are only talking to Sundowns as far as I know, as far as me and my player knows. So if thereโs something else that Iโm not aware ofโฆ itโs not in my power.
โBut me as a duly authorised intermediate of Mshishi, Iโm talking to Sundowns, and you can confirm that with Sundowns,โ he concluded.
Masandawana are poised to lose the services of Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro at the end of the season, despite Mosimane claiming that the former is expected to pen a contract extension.
