Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane insists that Senegal are wary of the threat that Bafana Bafana pose, but maintained that they have a job to do in qualifying for the World Cup.
Mane expressed his delight at being back in the national team fold after recovering from a hamstring injury.
โIโm happy to be backโ because it was not easy. I have no excuses now. I was hurtโ but I worked hard to return,โ he told reporters.
โIโm ready. It will be difficult because South Africa remains a team to be respected even when they havenโt been getting good results.
โWe respect themโ but we also know that we have the means to achieve a good result there,โ he added.
The two teams clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday night, with South Africa needing victory in both games to guarantee their spot in next yearโs World Cup.
